Newspaper cutting, taken from the 'Daily Chronicle', dated 1912. Article is titled, 'South Pole disaster - Mr L.C. Bernacchi's tribute to Capt Scott - his theory of the calamity'. Louis Bernacchi was physicist aboard the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition in 1901-1904 with Capt. Scott. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William Colbeck, Captain of the "Morning", which made two trips to Antarctica as a relief vessel for the "Discovery" during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
