Early History of Alexander Moncur

Photographs, of 8 pages of text entitled "Early History of Alexander Moncur", dated 16th September 1869 (when Moncur was 83 years old). He tells of his life, including his expereinces with the housing, employment prospects and the diet of workers in Dundee. Moncur was a warper at James Hay Manufactureres and moved to Millers Wynd in 1815 he was married to Elisabeth Irons and they had 10 children (most of whom died at an early age). Stored in a brown faded envelope addressed to Messrs. W. G. Grant & Co., Ltd.
