Embroidered jute waistcoat
Waistcoat, embroidered jute waistcoat. Grandmother of donor stitched this to learn new stitching methods. Front with brown felted cloth edges and pockets and neck and button holes edges. Six 'pearl' shanked buttons with with brass pin through eyelet at back. Embroidery in beige, brown and yellow ochre colours. Back and lining in beige satin cotton with adjustable half belt with buckle and back waist.
