Gramophone Record: White record bearing an image of the RRS Discovery in the center and inscribed 'Mawson Antarctic Expedition 1929'. Produced by the Goodson Gramophone Record Ltd.
Record given to donors mother as a souvenir from the crew who attended a reception organised by the donors mother and grandparents when the ship returned from the Antarctic and was docked at Williamstown on Port Philip Bay, Melbourne. She was docked there in winter 1930 to be refitted for BANZARE 2nc cruise 1930-1931.
