Jute Coffin and Shroud
Coffin and Shroud made from 100% jute, suitable for an adult of 5 foot 6 inches. The jute fibres are mixed with natural starch and then compressed to make a strong, easily biodegradable board. As Eco Funerals rise in popularity, jute coffins are an ideal alternative as everything from the lining to the rope handles are 100 percent biodegradable and also produce a much lower carbon emission when used for cremations.
