Letter, sent from Sir Leopold McClintock to Sir Clements Markham, 16 Queensbury Place S.W., dated 17/May/1902, concerning details on six men tent design. Sir Clements Markham was President of the Royal Geographical Society. Sir Leopold McClintock was an irish arctic explorer. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William Colbeck, Captain of the "Morning", which made two trips to Antarctica as a relief vessel for the "Discovery" during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
