\'Verdant Jute\' vessel by Jennifer Rochester

Vessel, made of natural and green jute titled 'Verdant Jute' by local textile artist Jennifer Rochester. Jennifer states 'A hand stitched vessel made from natural and green dyed jute of different weights uses the produced to create an original piece of artwork embracing the 'essence of jute'. This piece was exhibited at Verdant Works as part of 'Edge@ Verdant Works' temporary exhibition by Edge Textile Artists Scotland 21st January- 23rd April 2017. They record the transformation from the original verdant meadow site to the introduction of the raw jute to the manufacture of jute thread.
