Drawing, by Carsten E. Borchgrevink (leader of the Southern Cross Expedition), of the Discovery in pack ice with two penguins in the bottom left hand corner, entitled "Screwing in the pack, 23/1/1899". Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William Colbeck, Captain of the "Morning", which made two trips to Antarctica as a relief vessel for the "Discovery" during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
