Archives relating to George Butchart, Managing Director for Titaghur Jute Factory - Titaghur was parent company in charge of four main mills in Calcutta. Indian life focused on St Andrews Church and social life. Left India in May 1963 (Was in India for 35 years). Returned to Dundee and worked for company until 1971 when they closed the Dundee branch.
