Postcard, taken from a collection of prints, letters, photographs and postcards relating to both the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904 and the British Antarctic Expedition 1910-13. This particular object is a postcard of a black and white ink painting of the Fram, Fridtjof Nansen's vessel he used to explore the North Pole and later used by Roald Amundsen to go to the Antarctic. Inscribed 'Polarskuten Fran 19/3'.
