Letter from Mr William Fenton to Philip Mishon relating to the ’In the footsteps of Scott Antarctic Expedition’

Two Letters, Top one consists of one typed page on cream coloured paper, dated 30th August 1984 and is from Philip Mishon to Mr Gareth Woods, brief note with updates. The second letter, dated July 10th 1984 is form Bernard K Levy to Mr Philip Mishon, it is on in the footsteps of Scott, Antarctic Expedition 1984-6 headed paper. The letter mentions enclosing brochures about sponsorship and association, it also mentions that the Expedition is going to appear on the ITN news and Blue Peter. Relating to the In the footsteps of Scott Antarctic Expedition. hand written note on reverse in green ink, appears to be a shopping list.


Part of a collection of items associated with the 1984-86 Antarctic Expedition " in the footsteps of Scott " donated from Helen Symington who along with her sister, Hilda Ford (a Senior Sister at King Edward VIII Hospital), knitted Arran sweaters for the crew who went out.
