Newspaper cutting, taken from "The Weekly Press", dated November 1902 and titled 'The relief ship "Morning" from Lyttelton'. A list of asociated images includes: 1. Photograph, black and white showing a man addressing the crowd from the deck of Discovery, labelled ‘The Hon. H.F. Wigram (Mayor of Christchurch) calls for cheers for the Morning’.

Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William Colbeck, Captain of the "Morning", which made two trips to Antarctica as a relief vessel for the "Discovery" during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
