Newspaper cutting titled, 'Expedition recov Scott Relics, Found in Stone Shelter' Sir Edmund Hillary, leader of the New Zealand Antarctic Expedition descovered relics from a stone shelter built by Captin Scott in 1911, discovered near Cape Crozier the finds included a case of scientific insruments belonging to Dr Edward Wilson, a Primu stove, canvas satchel, a blubber stove, a hurricane lamp and six thermometers all in working order, together with films in sealed container and tins of pemmican and tea.
Part of a collection of 7 newspaper assosiated with the '1910 -1912 British Antarctic Expedition' donated by Jim Hutcheson.
