PHOTOGRAPH of horses and carriage outside Caird Ashton Works, Dundee. Street has been decorated for a special event with flags, banners and bunting. Possibly for the royal visit of King George and Queen Mary when they visited Dundee to lay the foundation stone of the Caird Hall 10th July 1914.

Part of a collection of items donated by Sandy Anderson. Son of John Douglas Anderson, who was one of the Directors at Caird Ashton Works and Grandson of D.A. Anderson who was the managing director.
