Street has been decorated for a special event with flags, banners and bunting for the royal visit of King George V and Queen Mary when they visited Dundee to lay the foundation stone of the Caird Hall 10th July 1914. photo taken from the top of Whitehall Street look along the High street. in the distance can be seen the Clysdale bank and on the right you can see the spire from the Town House

Part of a collection of items donated by Sandy Anderson. Son of John Douglas Anderson, who was one of the Directors at Caird Ashton Works and Grandson of D.A. Anderson who was the managing director.
