Pass for Royal Visit
Pass for Mrs Samson to get into Camperdown Works to work as a weaver on the day of the Queen's visit, June 28 1955. Name on pass is 'Jane' which was to Mrs Samson's displeasure as her name was Jean. The strap on her machine snapped just after the Queen passed by. At the time Mrs Samosn would have been 27 years old and about 6 months pregnant.
