Photograph Album, containing 40 black and white photographs relating to Megna Jute Mills, dated July 1949 complied by 'A Napier'. Album in maroon cloth covered boards and silk cord holding brown card pages. Photos held by corners.

This belonged to the donor's uncle James Morton Stewart, originally from Lochee. He served his apprenticeship as a mill mechanic in Cox's Jute Mill in Lochee. He went to work at Megna Mill in May 1949 and became manager of this mill along with Sam Baxter (donor's other uncle).
