Plaque from HMS Scott

Plaque gifted from HMS Scott, an Ocean survey vessel of the Royal Navy. The ship is named after Captain Robert Falcon Scott and has visited Antarctica on an official role. The plaque was presented on Wednesday 19th September 2018 (by officers and crew following a guided tour of RRS Discovery at Discovery Point) to Education Officer Ali Gellatly. The plaque has a wooden base on which HMS Scott's logo is displayed, this is made up of a circular 'gold' medallion with a crown on the top edge and a King Penguin standing on the ice against a blue sky, above its heads reads the title 'Scott'.
