Article entitled 'Byrd relief - dash to rescue marooned men', concerning Byrd's relief ship 'City of New York' breaking through pack ice to get to Byrd's camp. Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
