Letter, instruction letter, copy. From Admiralty to Henry McKay, titled ''Sailing orders for Captain McKay of the Antarctic relief ship Terra Nova''. Dated 24/8/1903. Typescript on Admiralty embossed paper. Henry (Harry) McKay, was captain of the "Terra Nova" relief vessel during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William Colbeck, Captain of the "Morning", which made two trips to Antarctica as a relief vessel for the "Discovery" during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
