Barratt visited RRS discovery with other members of last Space Shuttle Discovery crew and dinned in the wardroom. Barratt made two trips to space. First was on Expedition 19/20 on board Soyuz TMA-14 to the ISS where he stayed from February 2008 to March 2009. He was also Mission Specialist on STS 128 on board Discovery and STS-133 mission to ISS on board Discovery (26 February to 7 March 2011), this was to be SS Discovery's 39th and final mission. Part of 6 signed colour prints of NASA astronauts who visited Discovery Point and dined in the ward room.
