Circular badge, Space Mission Patch taken from STS-120, a mission to the International Space Station on board SS Discovery, 23 Oct- 7 Nov 2007. Dark blue badge with golden shuttle, it contains the crew names of the mission around the edge; Tani, Wheelock, Parazynski, Melroy Zamka, Wilson, and Nespoli. This was the 23rd shuttle mission to the International Space Station which launched an Italian built U.S multipart module for the station. Commander Pamela Melroy became the second woman (after Eileen Collins) to command a shuttle mission.
