Press Information for In the Foot of Scott, Antarctic Expedition 1984-86 dated 31th October 1985. Consists of two typed page on Headed paper which are staples together. Titled, 'British Expedition starts polar walk on same day as Capt. Scott' and give details of the expedition three members starting out on November 2nd. this was delayed by 2 weeks by severe blizzards, which coinided with the same date, 74 years ago - 2 Novemver 1911, on which Capt. R F Scott sett out with his companions on their heroic trek to the Pole. The second page has the Schedule and Itinerary. Relating to the In the footsteps of Scott Antarctic Expedition

Part of a collection of items associated with the 1984-86 Antarctic Expedition " in the footsteps of Scott " donated from Helen Symington who along with her sister, Hilda Ford (a Senior Sister at King Edward VIII Hospital), knitted Arran sweaters for the crew who went out.
