From Edward Wilson to his friend buster re. sale of quilt
Letter, part of a collection of archives relating to the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904. This particular object is a letter from Edward Wilson (zoologist and artist onboard the Discovery) to his friend ‘Buster’. The letter dated 10th Jan 1908 and written in black ink on cream coloured card concerns a Chinese Sunday Quilt which he has sent to auction to be sold (with a reserve of 30) and which he thinks his friend might want to buy.
