Halley's Picnic 1954-55
Film, rolled into metal container, 16mm, colour and silent, entitled 'Halleys's Picnic 1954-1955', showing workers of Wallace Craigie Works (owned by Halleys) and their families on a family picnic in Tayport in 1954 and then in Kirriemuir in 1955. The film which lasts 14.42 minutes shows families taking part in sack races, running races and egg and spoon races as well as children playing on the playground and families enjoying pies and tea. Film rolled into metal container.
