Letter discussing delayed pension payment
Letter dated 4th May 1987 regarding the delayed payment of Titaghur pension because the mill had been closed since November 17th 1986 because of a lock-out declared by the management and enquiring into the situation.
Archives relating to Managing Director for Titaghur Jute Factory - Titaghur was parent company in charge of four main mills in Calcutta. Indian life focused on St Andrews Church and social life. Left India in May 1963 (Was in India for 35 years). Returned to Dundee and worked for company until 1971 when they closed the Dundee branch
