Map with all the mills in Dundee indexed, 1908
Book, featuring a plan of Dundee and its suburbs dated1908, on which the owner has mannually indexed all the mills and works in Dundee. Handwritten in the front of book is the inscription, "Jany 1909 - from G A McLaran & Son". Part of a collection of items relating to Indian jute mills and Mr. Burt Clark. Clark joined Jute Industries as an apprentice in 1928. In 1933 he moved to India and began work as a clerk in Titaggua, later moving to Calcutta and becoming general manager for all the mills.
