Skipping Rope with handles made from wooden pirns
Skipping rope, that use wooden pirns as handles. Pirns are used within the weaving process, the weft thread is wound around the pirn which is then placed within a shuttle. The skipping rope is made up of wooden shafts with metal collars and heads bound with metal rings, rope threaded through hollow centres and knotted at ends.
