Snippet Twine Dolly

Snippet Twine Dolly, produced by Nutscene. Consisting of a wooden peg with a blade in the 'thistle' design head, used for cutting and three reels of twine, 2 green and one natural jute coloured. Presented in a plastic wrapping with a card top section, the front of which bears an illustration and the text ' The Snippet Twine Dolly: Cuts on Demand', the reverse side features instructions on use of the dolly. Part of a collection of items produced by Nutscene, a company selling twine and other gardening products. Nutscene began in Dundee in 1922 as a spin off from the Jute Industry, now based in Kingsmuir, Forfar, the company still manufacturers their twine using traditional methods and machinery.
