The Great Chasm
Slide, lantern slide depicting a black and white image of the great chasm. The original annotation on the slide reads 'Great Chasm.' The figure of either Scott or Wilson appears in the chasm, an obstacle which prevented the team traveling from the ice barrier to continental Antarctica. Taken as part of the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
