Article entitled, 'Grim epic of the Arctic - dramatic story of the man who set out in a balloon and never came back', relating to the discovery 33 years later of Saloman August Andree and his two companions who set out on a Arctic Expedition by Balloon. Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
