Newspaper cutting, taken from "The Times"and dated 1930. Article entitled, 'Royal Geographical Society - medals and awards for 1930', concerning who was to be awarded a variety of polar medals. Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
