Dangers to Navigation, Banzare

Document, entitled 'Report of Dangers to Navigation', written by J. K. Davis (commander of the Discovery during BANZARE) as part of the Navigation Act 1912-1920. The report notes of a dangerous path of rocks at Royal Sound, Kerguelen, dated 3/4/1930. Attached is a remark book kept for the British Australian New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition from 19th October 1929 to 31st March 1930. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during the Banzare Expedition 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
