Envelope, addressed to Lt. Wiliam R Colbeck, Mersey Laboratory, Dock Office, Liverpool, then subsequently ammended to Newham Club Hotel, Lower Breck Road, Liverpool. Envelope bears the Admirality stamp and is titled on the top of the envelope 'On his majesty's service'. Postmarked Liverpool 30/5/1934. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during the Banzare Expedition 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
