Letter to return notes and photos used in his book

Letter, written from Louis Bernacchi (physicist onboard the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904) 55 Porchester Terrace, Hyde Park, London W.2. to William R. Colbeck, Carmene, Selworthy Green, Childwall, Liverpool. The letter returns the notes and photographs he had borrowed from Colbeck as research for his book the 'Saga of the Discovery' published in 1938. Dated 16 30/9/1938. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during the Banzare Expedition 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
