Menu, dinner menu held by the "3rd South Polar Expedition" to honour J.B.Joel Esquire (possibly one of the expedition's financers) at Oddenino's Imperial restaurant, dated 21st June 1921. Printed on off-white card in green ink and edged by a gold metallic strip. The back is inscribed with signatures of the attendees including Ernest Shackleton (expedition leader), J.B. Joel, Frank Wild (Second in Command) and Leonard D.A. Hussey (meteorologist and assistant surgeon).
