Newspaper cutting, taken from the "Daily Sketch"and dated Friday 30/5/1930. Article entitled, ' Back from the snow', relating to the return of the Byrd Expedition. Features two black and white images one of Harold June (airman) having his beard removed and the other of Jim Fleury wearing polar hat and goggles. Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
