Colman's Mustard Powder
Tin of Colman's mustard powder, metal tin decorated with yellow advertising labels. Label on the front reads 'By special appointment to the King/ Colman's Mustard, Double Super Fine/ Manufactured in England', Handwritten on the front in blue ink 'British Antarctic Expedition 16/6/07', taken from Shackleton's Nimrod expedition. Colman's supplied their products entirely free of charge to the expedtion. They donated tons of flour and mustard.
