Card, souvenir card bearing a coloured illustration of Captain Scott and the Polar Party labelled, ‘Captain Scott at the Pole- Taking Records’, underneath which is the caption ‘Fry’s Coca and Chocolate Makers to H.M. the King’. The reverse of the card features, infromation on the Polar Party reaching the pole, ‘Captain Scott and the South Pole’ (the name of the series of cards) and the caption ‘Fry’s Pure Coca 300 Grands Prix Gold Medals’ all within a decorative boarder of coiled rope. Part of a complete set of 25 cards commemorating the Terra Nova Expedition 1910-12 issued by Fry’s chocolate (one of the expedition’s sponsors) in 1913.
