Newspaper cutting, taken from the "Cape Times", dated Saturday 26/10/1929. Large black and white image of the Endurance (taken by Frank Hurley official photographer on BANZARE) crushed in the ice entitled 'Hazards of the Antarctic'. Also includes a photograph (also taken by Hurley) of the Discovery during the BAZNAR Expedition. Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
