Newspaper cutting, taken from an unknown publication, dated circa 1930. Entitled 'Beyond the South Pole', concerning Byrd's future plans for Antarctic exploration. Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
