Receipts, two receipts pinned together on "Morning" headed paper. The first receipt is dated 29th February 1903 and signed by Captain Robert Falcon Scott confirming they have received a Theodolite (a instrument used for measuring angles) and a plane table. The second receipt is dated 24th February 1903 from the engineering department and signed by Reginald Skelton (Chief Engineer) confirming the receipt of items such as coal and oil. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William Colbeck, Captain of the "Morning", which made two trips to Antarctica as a relief vessel for the "Discovery" during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
