Booklet, souvenir booklet, entitled ‘Sir Ernest Shackleton's Adventures in the Antarctic during his 1914-1917 Expedition’. Produced by Geo. Gordon & Son for Shackleton's Endurance lecture tour. As well as information on Shackleton and the expedition it also features black and white photographs of Frank Worsley (Captain of the Endurance) taking observations of the sun to determine positioning, various sketches by William Heinemann, an image of Potash and Pearlmutter (the cook and assistant) in the ice at Camp Patience, Robert Falcon Scott in full dress uniform and the ship’s pups: Roger, Toby, Nelson and Nell.
