Tracks of the Terra Nova

Map, entitled 'Tracks of the "Terra Nova" 1910-13', showing the tracks of the three journeys the Terra Nova took, 1910-1911, 1911-1912 and 1912-1913 extracted from "Scott's last expedition", volume 2. In red pen an unknown person has added by hand the tracks from the Aurora 1916-197 (the vessel used in Earnest Shackleton's Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition 1914-197) and in green pen the tracks from the same ship in 1917 have been added. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during the Banzare Expedition 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
