Letter, from Edward Evans, 36 Victoria Street S.W. to William Colbeck, typewritten on headed paper, titled "British Antarctic Expedition, 1910 - Commander Evan's Lecture Tour" and dated 28/10/1913. Edward Evans was an officer both on the Terra Nova Expedition and earlier on Colbeck's relief ship the Morning. The letter concerns Evan's lecture tours and fondly acknowledges Colbeck's training in the earlier part of Evan's career. Belonging to a collection of papers associated with William Colbeck, Captain of the "Morning", which made two trips to Antarctica as a relief vessel for the "Discovery" during the British National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
