Newspaper cutting, taken from the "Daily Sketch", dated 8/7/1930. Featuring a black and white image of 28 men at an official dinner inscribed, 'some of the guests, world-famous for their Polar exploration, present at a dinner last night at the Cafe Royal in connection with the Polar Exhibition. The sleigh dog is modeled entirely in lard'. Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
