Cutting, re BANZARE hydrologists notes

Newspaper cuttings, featuring two articles collected by the Australian Press Cuttings. The first is an article taken from the 'Morning Herald', dated 20/04/1931 entitled 'The Discovery- Homeward Bound', relating to the Discovery returning to England. The second is taken from the 'Western Australian' (newspaper from Perth), dated 17th April 1931 entitled 'Antarctic Exploration: Hydrologists Notes'. Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
