Newspaper cutting, taken from an unknown Hull newspaper, dated circa 1930. Article entitled 'Hull man's link with Capt Scott, concerning Mr Kemp who was the fireman onboard the Morning. Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
