Newspaper cutting, taken from an unknown Australian newspaper, dated circa March, 1931. Entitled 'Future plans of "Discovery" - deciding crew's fate- Antarctic Committee meets'. Also cutting entitled 'Father Antarctic Explorer too' concerning William R Colbeck joining BANZARE. Part of a scrapbook belonging to William R. Colbeck, 2nd Officer on the "Discovery" during BANZARE 1929-1931 and son of William Colbeck, captain of the "Morning", the relief ship for the Discovery during the National Antarctic Expedition 1901-1904.
