Discovery in Portsmouth Dock
Photograph, black and white of the SS Discovery, dated 30/1/1925 whilst she was shipped in Portsmouth Dock, without masts, during her refit. The ship is shown in the Vosper yard in Portsmouth and had been floated after her extensive hull refit. Several Vosper employees can be seen on the deck and there is a tug at the stern of the ship, suggesting that she is about to be towed clear of the dock.
